WASHING DENIM AND BEST BLACK CLOTHES.
Dark denim is best washed separately so no dye transfer - turn garment inside out. Use Home Scents Jeans and Denim wash and follow the instructions on the back of the bottle. This includes a cool water machine wash, adding Home Scents natural softener to the last rinse if you don't like staff denim and drying outdoors. Dark colours are more likely to fade when dried in a tumble dryer.
Lighter coloured denims can be washed in 30 or 40 degrees with our Denim & Jeans wash. Turn garment inside out and use Home Scents natural softener. Either line dry or in a tumble drier.
White denim can be washed using Violet's Laundry Powder or Home Scents eco laundry wash at 40 degrees. Turn the garment inside out and pre-treat any stains by soaking in dilute Earth friendly bleach or adding a scoop of Earth friendly bleach to the wash cycle. Line dry or tumble dry.
Jeans with embroidery & embellishments are safer being washed, turned inside out, in a zip up laundry mesh
wash bag.
That little black dress or special black machine washable knitwear will always benefit by being washed on a cool setting using our Jeans and Denim Wash. If embellished or embroidered then turn inside out and put into a mesh laundry washing bag.
